Almond Milk

Almond Milk
  • 1 cup almonds (measured before soaking)
  • 3-4 cups liquid: choose one of water, dairy milk, coconut milk or nut milk; measure separately from the soaking water

Also have ready: Measuring pitcher with a spout, Soaking bowl and strainer for draining, Container for collecting milk, Stirring spoon, Fine-mesh strainer (optional), Separate blender (if adding the optional date).

Measure the almonds before soaking. Cover the nuts with water and soak for 8-12 hours.

Discard the soaking water, then drain and rinse the softened almonds.

Choose this batch's total liquid amount within the 3-4 cup range. Measure it separately into a pitcher and use it gradually during processing. Do not include the soaking water.

Read plant milk method first. Keep the juice outlet open during processing; see outlet cap guide for how to remove the cup.

01 Assemble and position both containers

With the machine unplugged, lock the Juice Filter in place following assembly guide. Position the milk container under the juice outlet and the pulp cup under the pulp outlet. Open the juice outlet cap.

02 Add nuts first, then start

Put a small portion of the soaked almonds into the feed chute first. Close the large lid and complete the checks in assembly guide. Plug in and turn the dial to ON.

03 Add liquid gradually after starting

Following feeding guide, gradually add the measured liquid. Continue with small portions of nuts, each followed by liquid. Wait for each portion to be drawn in before adding more. Do not pour everything in at once.

05 Collect the milk after normal processing

After the final portion has been processed during normal operation, turn to O (Off). Let the remaining milk drain into the cup. Close the juice outlet cap, remove the cup and unplug. See outlet cap guide.

06 Stir, then decide whether to strain

Gently stir the entire batch, then taste and check the texture. For a smoother texture, use a fine-mesh strainer. Taste before adding any sweetener to the finished milk.
